This group is for people who are representing any Passenger Transport organisation in the U.K. and who are bona fide employees of the organisation they represent.
Whether your position is driver, engineer, office clerk or cleaner, as long as you are employed for at least 16 hours per week you are eligible to play darts in a PCV team. Seasonal employees who are employed on a limited contractual basis are eligible during their period of contract.
Retired employees who are in receipt of Pensions, are also eligible to continue playing.
The PCV teams entering the competition shall be grouped in ZONES, (North, South, East and West) the draw for the NATIONAL ROUND ROBIN & PLATE COMPETITION Will be made by the Zone secretaries.
Each Zone will play their games until there is a winner of each Zone to go forward to the National Final, This is usually held in November, where there is a play-off to establish who will be the overall NATIONAL WINNER.
The zone runners-up do not go on to the plate as they receive a runner-up trophy.
THE PLATE IS FOR THE REMAINING LOSERS OF EACH ZONE, which will be played in the January, at the PLATE FINAL.
All these trophies will be given out at our Presentation weekend in February, as well as the weekends competitions, where the PCV players will take part in a pairs and IKO knockout.
There is also a blind three's competition, a guest men's pairs and IKO as well as a ladies pairs and ladies IKO, to run along side the PCV competitions.
If you are a guest of a PCV player and have previously attended either a summer or winter weekend tournament, you too can become a member of this group, but can only participate in the guests competitions.
